Hello,

My name is Heike Bentin-Carroll and I have operated the BORN TO DRIVE BRISBANE Driving School, based in Samford, since 2013. I have nearly 40 years of driving experience in Australia and Germany and I love to share my enthusiasm for safe driving with my students – whether they are young, older, new to Australian driving or just want to refresh their driving skills.

My passion for driving began in my childhood when I won a colouring competition with a picture of a dashboard! I enjoy inspiring that same excitement for driving in my students. Now as the proud operator of BORN TO DRIVE BRISBANE, I get to do what I love for a living.

My commitment is to teach students how to make safe, focussed decisions while driving. My relaxed teaching approach creates a comfortable and secure environment, which enables students to achieve positive driving outcomes.

Many of my students are referred to me from previous happy customers or are their siblings! I have experienced a lot of joy teaching local families, many with multiple siblings and even cousins. I am very proud to watch my clients grow from nervous learners into safe, confident drivers who pass their test easily.

I work hard to teach safe driving skills in my students, but I also work hard outside of the car to support clients in finding lesson solutions that work for them and their families. This includes providing packages with no expiry date and even allowing unused lessons to be transferred to another family member or friend. I can also organize to book a test.
